WHAT IS RANGE DAY?
Range day is a free community event, designed to support and grow the shooting sports community here in southern oregon while providing positive visibility to responsible firearm ownership and use. We work to combat negative stereotypes and misinformation surrounding firearms.
IT’S FREE
As the headlining sponsor of Range Day, Black Flag Armory will pay all bay rental fees and entry fees for the public at this event. We keep this day free of charge to anyone who wants to come out and experience the shooting community in the Rogue Valley.
What to Bring
We’ve got targets, target stands and your range fees covered. Bring your firearms, eye & ear protection, ammunition, and any targets or gear you want to shoot with.
Instructors, Range Safety Officers, our staff, and more will be on-site to help you have a safe, fun day as well as answer any questions you may have or troubleshoot any issues.

Range day offers manufacturers and retailers the opportunity to get face to face with customers. Bringing them value, improving brand relations and sales, and offering a unique experience for event attendees. Partnering with Range Day is a great opportunity for local and national groups and companies to reach more responsible firearm owners.
A Great Event Starts With Safety
As a public event, safety is our top priority. To make this happen, we require that all attendees check in with the Range, sign waivers, and check in for the event where they will have their firearms checked, chamber flags given out, and the range rules explained to them.
All Black Flag Armory staff are certified RSOs &/or NRA & USCCA Instructors. We will have RSO’s at every bay controlling each bay, explaining bay rules, as well as roving RSOs throughout the entire event.
To keep everyone on the same page, we hold a safety briefing prior to the start of the event, identifying key individuals, RSOs, medical professionals, medical kits and cover emergency procedures.
